COOLINGBAG is a compact water-activated thermal cooling case designed for storing and carrying up to two insulin pens. It is ideal for everyday use, work, short trips and travel when insulin needs protection from excessive heat without electricity, ice packs or pre-freezing.
The inner cooling insert contains water-absorbing crystals in the form of small rounded granules. When soaked in cold water, the granules absorb moisture, expand and form a soft gel-like filling. Cooling then occurs naturally through gradual water evaporation.
Simply activate COOLINGBAG with cold water — no separate gel pack, ice, freezer or electricity is required.
Once activated, the insulin cooling case can provide a cooling effect for up to 45 hours, depending on ambient temperature, humidity, airflow and other conditions of use.
The compact COOLINGBAG can accommodate:
2 insulin pens
or 2 × 10 ml insulin vials
or 1 insulin pen + 2 × 3 ml cartridges
Its 90 × 180 mm size makes it easy to carry in a handbag, backpack, work bag or travel luggage without the bulk of a large diabetes organizer.
How to activate COOLINGBAG
1. Remove the inner cooling insert from the outer case.
2. Before first use, immerse it completely in cold water for approximately 45–55 minutes.
3. Allow the crystal granules to absorb water and expand.
4. Remove the insert and gently blot away excess surface water with a towel.
5. Place it back inside the outer case — COOLINGBAG is ready to use.
For subsequent activation, a shorter soaking time is usually sufficient. If the insert becomes too firm after absorbing excess water, allow some moisture to evaporate naturally before use.
Air circulation is essential for evaporative cooling. Do not keep an activated COOLINGBAG inside an airtight plastic bag or completely sealed container.

Care: COOLINGBAG may be stored with medication in a refrigerator, but do not place it in a freezer. Do not machine wash or tumble dry the cooling insert. Protect the inner element from punctures and mechanical damage.
