FreeStyle Optium by Abbott are blood glucose test strips designed for routine self-monitoring of blood sugar. They can be used with compatible FreeStyle Optium Neo meters and supported FreeStyle Libre 2 / FreeStyle Libre 3 readers, making them a practical option for home, work and travel.
Each test requires only 0.6 µL of blood, with glucose results displayed in approximately 5 seconds. If the initial sample is insufficient, additional blood can be applied to the strip within 5 seconds.
FreeStyle Optium strips require no manual coding. Each strip is individually sealed in foil, helping protect it until use and making the strips convenient to carry individually.
