NovoPen Echo Plus is a reusable smart insulin pen with precise 0.5-unit dosing and electronic injection memory. It is designed for use with compatible Novo Nordisk Penfill 3 mL insulin cartridges and combines accurate dosing with digital injection tracking.
The dose can be selected from 0.5 to 30 units in 0.5-unit increments, allowing users to set prescribed insulin doses with greater precision than pens limited to 1-unit increments.
NovoPen Echo Plus automatically records injection information and can store up to 800 previous doses, representing at least approximately three months of injection history. The built-in display shows the last delivered dose and the time elapsed since the injection.
With NFC technology, injection history can be transferred to a compatible smartphone or other supported device and viewed in compatible diabetes management apps. This provides a convenient digital record without manually entering every insulin dose.
The pen is reusable: once a Penfill cartridge is empty, it can be replaced with another compatible 3 mL Penfill cartridge. NovoPen Echo Plus is compatible with NovoFine Plus, NovoFine and NovoTwist disposable needles up to 8 mm.
