Omnipod DASH Pods are replaceable Pods for the Omnipod DASH tubeless insulin delivery system. Each Pod is worn directly on the body and provides continuous insulin delivery without external tubing, giving users more freedom for everyday activities, work, sleep and exercise.
Each Pod combines an insulin reservoir with an automatically inserted soft cannula in one compact device. The system is managed through a compatible Omnipod DASH PDM, where basal insulin delivery and bolus doses are controlled according to the user’s prescribed insulin therapy.
One Omnipod DASH Pod can be used for up to 72 hours / 3 days and holds up to 200 units of U-100 insulin. A 10-pack provides up to 30 days of Pod supply, making it convenient for regular DASH users who prefer to keep replacement Pods ready in advance.
The tubeless design is a practical alternative to traditional insulin pumps with external infusion tubing. The Pod is water resistant and may remain attached during showering or swimming within the manufacturer’s specified conditions.
